History
Troop 104 is a Scouting America Scout Troop located in Madison, Wisconsin that was established in 1954. We are headquartered in the Westmorland neighborhood, at Midvale Lutheran Community Church, but we draw our members from all over the Madison area.
Environment
We are an active, inclusive, friendly, not religiously affiliated troop. Troop 104 is welcoming of all genders, and encourages non-binary scouts to join the Troop they are most comfortable with. All are welcome, so come join us!
Meetings
We meet every week on Monday nights from 7:00 to 8:30 at Midvale Lutheran Church, 4329 Tokay Boulevard, on Madison’s near-west side. Feel free to drop by and visit!
Outings
Every month, the troop goes on a trip. We do many types of fun activities, including, but not limited to, hiking, skiing, white-water rafting, camping, canoeing, archery, caving, rock climbing, backpacking, swimming, making fires, cooking over the fire, going to summer camp, and biking. These trips typically go from Friday evening to Sunday morning, though there may occasionally be day trips that go from Saturday morning to Saturday evening. There may also be a week-long trip (in the case of Camp Tesomas in June).
